High school is an essential stage in students’ educational journey. It allows them to deepen the knowledge acquired in middle school, develop autonomy, critical thinking, and the working methods needed to succeed in higher education or enter the workforce. Schooling is organized around core subjects, specialty subjects, and personalized support, enabling each student to gradually build their future plans.
In 10th and 11th grade, students develop their skills in analysis and written and oral expression through the study of a wide range of literary works. 11th grade is also marked by preparation for, and sitting, the early French exam of the Baccalauréat.
Students deepen their knowledge of calculation, functions, geometry, statistics, probability, and reasoning. Teaching develops rigor, logic, and the ability to solve complex problems, in line with the pathways and specialties chosen.
Students study the major historical, geopolitical, and geographical issues of the contemporary world. They develop their critical thinking, analytical skills, and understanding of today’s societies.

In 12th grade, students discover philosophy and develop their ability to reflect, argue, and build their own thinking. Through the study of major concepts and philosophical texts, they learn to analyze issues, develop their critical thinking, and prepare for the Baccalauréat exam.
Students continue to develop their physical skills, autonomy, and commitment through a range of sports activities. PE also encourages cooperation, self-confidence, and respect for rules.
Students deepen their knowledge in physics-chemistry, life and earth sciences, and technology, depending on the courses taken. They develop their scientific approach through experimentation, analysis, research, and project work, to better understand today’s scientific and technological challenges.
From 11th grade onwards, students choose specialty subjects that enable them to build a pathway suited to their interests, skills, and higher education plans. In 12th grade, they deepen these subjects and prepare for the Baccalauréat exams as well as their future orientation.
